Introduction

The prose on the table is the Lekki Headmaster by Kabir Alabi Garba_ most especially the chapter 4. This post will be useful to any lover of literature, to students and to teachers.

Chapter 4: A Case of Visa Denied

Mrs Ignatius called Bepo at late night (11:55pm) to complain about her husband who had decided to stay late out.

Mr. Ibe Ignatius worked as a manager with an oil firm earning N6,000,000 naira monthly (according to the prose narrator, the kind of salary a "bloody" teacher like Mr. Bepo would call "an armed robber's salary").

Mr Ibe Ignatius had become fed up of Nigerian economy and wanted to relocate abroad; which will also help him fulfill his promises that his children must go study and live abroad.

Unfortunately, the visa was denied because DNA test revealed that Favour (an S.S.S. 2 student of Stardom Schools) was not his. Such revelation had affected the marital relationship and since then Ibe had been misbehaving because he had decided Mrs Ignatius and her daughter go search and live with their rightful owner.

The chapter 4 also noted the story of Mr. Ayesoro (the Social Studies teacher at Stardom Schools who's face carries tribal marks). He was transferred to Stardom Hub_ the real estate firm under Stardom Group of Companies, after Mrs. Ladele complained heavily to the school authority that her daughter Bibi was constantly having countless nightmare night after night seeing Mr. Ayesoro's face in dreams and getting heavily scared of his horrifying facial tribal marks.
